The West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) recognized Job Squad in Fairmont as an exemplary employer and partner as part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month this October.
Job Squad has demonstrated excellence in its diverse hiring practices by creating an inclusive workplace, and DRS recognizes this organization for its positive contributions within our communities.
"Job Squad has a unique partnership with DRS by being both an employer and by providing services to DRS consumers as a community rehabilitation provider. The organization is very familiar with the need to create and support a diverse workforce and has been an excellent partner in providing employment and training opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In addition to training services, they provide natural supports to individuals with disabilities in the workplace. They also frequently hire DRS consumers to fill contract positions at multiple locations, including the FBI Center in the Clarksburg area."
– Nominated by Diane Heldreth, DRS Clarksburg District Manager
