Asplundh Tree Service in Beckley is recognized by the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) as an exemplary employer and partner as part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month this October.
Asplundh has demonstrated excellence in its diverse hiring practices by creating an inclusive workplace, and DRS recognizes this organization for its positive contributions within our communities.
I have worked with Asplundh for the last several years, and they are always a pleasure to work with. They have hired DRS consumers from the Beckley, Princeton and Lewisburg areas using DRS’ on-the-job training program, and they are always eager to hire qualified individuals to join their team. They have been very accommodating and easy to work with.
Patricia Moody
DRS Employment SpecialistDuring my tenure with DRS, I have come to value the working relationship that has developed over the years with Asplundh. Asplundh is a valued partner of DRS, and through their efforts, people with disabilities have been able to achieve their employment goals and become more self-sufficient. Throughout the years, I have had a positive experience working with Asplundh, and I look forward to continuing that relationship in future.
