A growing partnership between HQ Aero Management and the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is creating new career pathways in the aviation industry for individuals with disabilities. By combining HQ Aero’s global reach in aviation staffing with DRS’s expertise in vocational rehabilitation, the collaboration is helping West Virginians overcome barriers to employment and find meaningful, long-term careers.
HQ Aero has demonstrated a strong commitment to partnering with DRS. They have actively shared multiple job openings and conducted interviews with several of our consumers, resulting in job offers for two individuals.
“DRS is doing amazing work with employer engagement,” said the President of HQ Aero, reflecting the organization’s appreciation for the collaborative and professional relationship.
HQ Aero specializes in hiring aviation professionals across all categories—supporting aircraft manufacturers, service centers, and repair stations throughout the U.S. and abroad. With a constant demand for skilled personnel and a variety of aircraft projects, HQ Aero offers diverse, fast-paced opportunities for qualified workers. The company updates and posts new aviation job openings daily, seeking individuals with a wide range of skill sets and qualifications.
DRS, a state agency, provides vocational services to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and retain employment. Their counselors work closely with clients to explore career interests, assess strengths, and build customized employment plans. Eligibility may include difficulties related to learning, hearing, vision, communication, physical activity, or emotional regulation.
Together, DRS and HQ Aero are helping to break down employment barriers and offer a clear flight path to success—one opportunity at a time.
