Weimer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Keyser Named Runner-Up Employer Award Honoree for Inclusive Practices and Employee Success

The West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is proud to recognize Weimer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Keyser as an Employer Award recipient for their dedication to creating an inclusive workplace and supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving long-term employment success.

The organization has demonstrated a strong commitment to workforce inclusion by offering mentorship, job coaching, and employee resource groups for workers with disabilities. In addition to building a supportive workplace, Weimer offers significant employment incentives such as paid college tuition, textbooks, and ongoing training opportunities to help employees enhance their skills and advance in their careers.Over the past year, they have strengthened their inclusive practices by:

During a recent On-the-Job Training (OJT),David Arbaugh at Weimer went above and beyond to ensure the success of a DRS client. He patiently navigated DRS policies, cooperated fully with program requirements, and promptly submitted all necessary paperwork. Most importantly, he was always available to answer questions and provide guidance to both the consumer and the rehabilitation staff. His dedication paid off: the client not only gained valuable skills but was also hired and continues to thrive in employment today—a true success story.
